Rip out the indicator cancellation + add daylight running mode

Today I declared war to my CT's auto canceling indicator system.

I was >< this close to getting a ticket for not properly indicating. It is driving me mad that the auto cancellation is such a 'dumb' system. It just stops after 9 flashes, unless I'm standing still. Then, after turning, it DOESN'T cancel. Come on Honda. :192:

I saw a youtube video (can't find the video atm) where a guy found the wires responsible for auto canceling on his CrossRUNNER. He had the same trouble. He wasn't sure if the Tourer has the same system. My guess is that they share the same cables/unit to reduce fabrication costs. Has anyone checked it out yet? Just making sure before I start dismantling my CT when I have the time and rip out that wire responsible for my misery on this beautiful bike.

And while I'm performing surgery, is there a way to add daylight running mode, like the 2016+ models, the crossrunners and Africa Twin have? Or do I need to get a 2016+ blinker unit and install it in my 2014 bike? Those position lights are great for visibility and look good!

    Thanks in advance!
