LED Main & Dipped Headlight Installation Help

I have ordered two LED headlight bulbs from a company called "LedPerk"  Looking at the instruction in the CT Manuel, it only shows the removal and installation of one of the two bulbs by removing the large round cover, which looks quite accessible, but only one bulb is shown to be in there, I am wondering why there is no mention of the other bulb. Any information about how I should proceed would be gratefully received as I am not very technically adept. As soon as they arrive with me I will have a go at fitting them, they were advertised as specifically suited to the CT and require not modification, they describe them as "Plug & Play".  Assuming they fit and work, I will post an update on my thoughts on the performance and if I thought £100 was well spent.
All the best, and ride safe Peter ( Braintree Essex)

I recently changed from HID's to LED's on my Blackbird because of the MOT clamp down on HID's.
The LED's were as good as, if not better than, the HID's.

I had thought that it would be one of my first personalisations on my recently acquired Tourer but up to now hadn't found any.
Would certainly be interested in seeing how the change goes.

Looking at the manual, it looks like both bulbs are changed the same way.

Thanks DE65Y. I assumed that would be the case, but wanted some reassurance before I tackled the job. I definitively will post my thoughts on the subject once installed and done a night run. I am not sure how long before the bulbs are in my possession as they are coming from France, and I only ordered them two days ago. Regards Pete.  :300:

Looking forward to your update as this will make my decision whether to get these or not; let us know if they are easy enough to fit, rear temperature on running and of course, their brightness  :027:

    Cheers.

    #MeToo!  :164:

Lighting is pretty poor with halogen bulbs.

LED bulbs work great in the high beam housing. In the low beam housing you will lose distance due to the reflector design shape. I have a cyclops LED high beam and an Osram night breaker halogen in the low.

I thought the newest style, as in original post, the LEDs completely matched the filament position of the original bulb.
So should give an identical spread of light but brighter and therefore longer distance.

I dont know why, but thats what happens. They just shorten the distance and scatter light. Its very difficult to get it right with retrofits. Another issue is heat build up. With high beams they are not on all the time as the low beams are so heat is not really an issue. Low beam LED bulbs, even the highest quality will overheat in the small closed headlight housing unless you vent it. If you vent it then dust and moisture will enter your housing and make a mess.
