and in number one spot was a 600 hornet when they first appeared, I rode it brand new from the dealers for 12 miles home and then took the wife for a 30 mile ride, when we got home we both agreed it was the worst bike ride we had ever experienced, the quality was poor and the suspension woeful to the point of dangerous, later that day I rode back to the dealer with a view to swapping it back for the CBR600 I had traded...………...Not a problem says the dealer however the financial hit would be  £1,600, pretty expensive as it worked out at 5hrs ownership covering 54 miles but such was my disappointment I took the hit.
Number two was a GSXR1000K4, again brand new but left me stranded with electrical faults 3 times in 200 miles, another hit of over £1k in a matter of weeks was unwelcome however this time the dealer reduced the price of a new Busa which was one of the best bikes I have owned and probably something I wouldn't have had but for the experience with the K4.
Am I alone with these experiences or can you better them?

Brand new Ducati multistrada enduro, owned for 20 months before traded it in for CT. Did 7500 miles on it of which only the first 700 were trouble free, thereafter it went back to the dealer on 7 occasions , 6 times for the same fault. Glad to see the back of it.

St1100 pan owned for 2 weeks after selling a Blackbird. Me and another Leyther were caning our CBR1100XX's from traffic lights to traffic lights up to speeds of around 150mph along the A580 east lancs road one evening and almost got caught by a copper. Put it up for sale the morning after and bought the Pan. Rode it once up to the cat n fiddle then didn't ride it again.......it was CRAP
Sold it the week after and did without a bike for 2 weeks then bought a brand NEW Tuono in 2008

Now that WAS a good bike......yes really  :007:
