I pick it up at 3pm and am looking forward to it however its tinged with a little sadness as the VFR1200 I am trading in is a cracking bike, in fact if it wasn't for the better degree of comfort for me and the milder power delivery that  the CT offers I would no doubt be keeping the VFR.
Here's hoping the CT will deliver to my expectation, its just a pity I cant transfer the full Maxton suspension over from the VFR :003: which transformed the ride quality, maybe it will be something to consider adding to the CT.

    Hi
I did exactly the same had the 1200f loved the bike but just could not get comfortable on it for longer rides so it had to go !!  :003:
But I can say the CT was a great choice it does everything really well and as for Comfort for mileage did a 800 mile stint from Geneva back to the Uk . As far as the suspension I haven’t done anything to mine as yet, wind up the preload on the back if two up it has been ok for everything I need it to do
    Enjoy !!!

Well its early days but for me the comfort is as bigger plus as I hoped it would be, followed by the power delivery,   the fuel capacity, and the rear mirror view. What I'm not yet sure about is the more agricultural noise and feel, and the bouncy front end however I was spoiled by having a full Maxton set up on my previous VFR12, other than this its early days so hard to say other than both are so underestimated. if I had both the Crosstourer would get more use simply for its comfort but comfort aside it would likely be the VFR  :187:
