    Preaching to the converted.....

I know you guys love your CT,s.

Mine arrived on Sunday and I have never ridden one as our local Honda dealer has sold 1 in 4 years! ... so no chance of a test ride. Anyway read a lot about them and decided to buy one...managed to get a really low ks import from the UK with every accessory you could ever want. Two days of rain and wind meant no riding...but today was clear, but still very windy.

Took the beast out for a 2 hour ride...removed the panniers and top box due to the high winds...I have owned and ridden a lot of bikes and can usually tell within the first 20 minutes of riding if I like the bike...I didn’t like this bike.....I bloody loved it!  :046: :046:

I wish I had brought this bike 5 bikes ago.... smooth power delivery....steady and comfortable to ride...It is like sitting on a horse...but somehow it all works.?....I can tell I will have this bike for a very long time....planning a trip around the South Island of New Zealand late February early March 2020...anyone is  :400:

Glad you’re enjoying your CT. it’s a very underrated bike that goes under a lot of people’s radar. It’s been in the market for 7 years now and I still have other riders say they’ve never seen one or didnt know it existed.

I genuinely believe with a bit more support from Honda the CT could have been a massive success.
I’m on my second which is now 3 years old so I’d normally be looking to change but with the lack of a new CT or anything that ticks the boxes it’ll be staying put for a while.

:047: Great news that your enjoying your CT so much and as Hartley says it’s an extremely underrated bike.
I’m also on my second CT and as with Hartley she’ll be around a while yet.
Enjoy your trip around the South Island Gregonz and it would be great to hear about it and see some photos.  :028:

Congrats on your CT purchase. The bike will steal your heart.
    A magnificent spirited motorcycle.
Enjoy your tour of the South Island.
Btw. I was in Auckland some years ago, rented a bike, Honda 750 and took a ride in the country with no riding gear. Beautiful countryside, though I ran through a swarm of bees, a number got inside my shirt. I shall never forget driving down the road on the left side, being stung by bees while I was beating my chest and stomach trying to kill them ,great fun. It never occurred me to pull over.

Glad to hear you love the ct . It ticks all the boxes for me I had mine through the alps no issues I have used it for the commute to work , and the Sunday morning blast round the Peak District and it has always been spot on. The only draw back in speed camera obsessed Britain !! it is to easy to get throttle happy especially with that engine  :001: :001: :001:
I will also have to ask my wife’s cousin to keep an eye out for you as she lives in Palmerston North .

    Take it easy
