Has anyone fitted an SW Motech light bar and then fitted non SW Motech lights?
Sw motech site say that it's only compatible with their own lights?

    I am curious also.

Can this be fitted next to the SW Motech crash bars?

What is the difference between a light bar and a crash bar (visually) ?

All universal lights can be fitted on any crash bar, as long as you have some proper mounting material /corresponding diameter for the bar.

Crash bars are usually tube steel, covering the sides of the bike and going under the front 'beak'. Giving crash protection and mounting points.

A light bar tends to be a small bar just under the 'beak' just for fitting lights.

The Honda original bar is made of alu and only to mount the lights and has 25mm diameter.
The Hepco&Becker is a crashbar, made of steel and also 25mm, and looks like the Honda OEM.

But if you have mounting brackets that will fit the diameter of the bar you can mount any light, isnt it?

I have them, I have a set of Baja design squadrons on them topside. Anything larger and you have to hang them underneath. Clean and neat install under the fairing.
