Long weekend in the French Vosges (Europe)
« on: October 23, 2019, 10:16:35 PM »
Last month I had a nice trip to the French Vosges area with two colleagues.
It was a bit sunny, cold, rainy, misty, slippery, muddy, ... Well, all kinds of weather and road conditions.

Here are some video's and pictures. Next season/year I want to experiment with different camera angles.

Beautiful country, great videos. When I retire in a few years I am going to fly my bike to Europe and spend a whole summer out there touring from Scandinavia to the Balkans, France is right in the middle of my plan.

Hello Red Boll,

Love the pics and videos.  :460:

The video footage edits are very slick, what editing software do you use please !  :440:

Thanks in advance.

Thank You, I would love more sound from the engine and exhaust and less wind noise though.

Thank You, that is a trip to look forward to. So many borders to cross and different languages to hear. Just be aware of all the different speed limits.  :082:

Thank You, I use Adobe Premiere Pro 2019 and selected the default sound and video transitions.

Hi Red Bill, i also do videos on my CT and the early ones were full of wind noise, I use a Sony ASC 100 (I think that’s the model) and I used tape over the mic aperture to cut out the wind but was still unhappy, now I use a mic inside the helmet that I branche into the camera, first attempts were better but it picked up my heavy breathing, (the red CT gets me high and excited 😆)  I have it placed now under the foam on the right side with a dead cat over the mic now I am happy no wind no breathing or sniffing when it’s cold and it picks up the engine roar nicely. I invite you to watch my YouTube channel «  Crosstourertony «  to see the improvements since my early Vidéo attempts to the latest ones from my trip to Mallorca this year
Another nice thing you could add is a little background music but not so loud it drowns the engine noise
Keep riding and videoing
