    Help....

    Hi everyone

A few months ago a car hitted the left side of my CT and broke the gear lever and the footpeg, which was replaced at the time. A couple of weeks ago and looking at the bike from the top, I noticed that the left footpeg is a bit misalign. I believe that the car bended the footpeg support a few millimeters but it wasn't noticed at the time. I recently went to the dealer to try to check it but, they didn't have any CT to compare, they told me that, even if it's bended a little bit (which they couldn't find out), it wouldn't matter that much. Nice...

Well, my issue is that, as I cannot find another CT in my area to compare, I added a picture where you can see the (small) difference in space between the support and the main frame in the front and the back of it. So, if anyone could take a picture of this support where this space can be seen, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks a lot for your help.

I would take the first photo again with some thing black on the ground beneath the foot pegs which should highlight any discrepancy better.

    Hi Yasko

I'm not near the bike right now, but I added a straight line on the picture. Although it might not be quite accurate, you can have a better idea of the discrepancy.

    Thanks.

Looks bent backwards and slightly downwards at the rear from that photo.

Yes it is. That's what triggered my issue and I believe that's because the footpeg support is bended (second photo). That's why I would need someone's help, to send me a pictures like my second one to check if that support is bended or not.

    Thanks a lot.

may just want the lug on the footpeg filing to adjust the angle,

I personally think that something would have snapped on the hanger rather than bend it?

just check where the peg meets the hanger, a couple of mill off the end can adjust it a lot
