New to the forum and new to the crosstourer. I've never had a crosstourer bike before. I'm 6'4" and weigh 250+ lbs. I can't believe how tall these bikes set (even for me). I do love the way the bike handles coming from a HD Street Glide. :008:

Welcome.  From the northwest side of Chicago for most of my life, but live in Florida now.  At least now every time you change a light bulb you won't have to throw it on the dyno to make sure the engine is running right (exaggerating of course).  Anyhow, enjoy the bike!  It is a really great machine.

Thanks,Guy's! I've rode bikes since I was 10,and now I'm 70! LOL! I do notice  some whining from the rear end,and a little slop in the drivetrain? Is this normal? It's taking a little bit to get used to the height of this bike, but once on it, rides and handles nice. I have to step on the right footpeg while it's on the kickstand, then stand up and swing a leg over it! :008: And I'm 6'4" tall! :086:

Welcome to the mix, on this side of the pond. I have 20k miles on mine and think it is a great bike, but they do have their quirks. I find it interesting that you say it is a tall bike, as well as many others. I agree but it does not feel tall once you get on. I am 5' 10" and flat foot the beast.

Boy, they must be old. Is the term pipe fitter even used any more?
