A tyre test in ride magazine .

The top two are Pirelli scorpion trail 11 at 92/100 and second was continental  trailattack 3 now I currently get about 9000 miles plus on anakee111 I am more than happy with them as they are very sure footed is it worth changing for a more modern tyres if your over all mileage is way short on 9000 miles that means changing twice a year and costly any comments are welcome.

I would stick with the Anakee 9000 miles sounds pretty good to me. The trail attack 3's on the AT are about 7000 front and 8000 back same as Mitch pilot 3's on CT near enough.
My priority is always the best for wet conditions not mileage and the conti's are very good.

To point a winner is always subjective and should not be done by the magazines. What's important for me can lead to another 'winner'.
Im riding Bridgestone A41 again, maybe not the best in test but overall a good tyre, almost no air loss (they do never test that!) and even 0,5bar less in the tyre they will still corner as normal. Other brands you will already notice 0,2 difference (they never test that!). And I can buy them cheap! 
(I've done 18.000miles / 30.000km on Anakee3 but I hate the noise and less good performance in wet)

I think the Crosstourer itself has never won a mag test, but for me it is the best bike available. Durability, Camshaft and DCT are the points that no other brand can compete. HP, topspeed, electric gadgets I dont care, I dont need.

I've run the stock scorpions and am on my second set of PR4's.  Scorpions were toast at 6 I got about 6.5k miles out of the first PR's the second will be about the same.  The PR's do get noisy as well

I ran original Tourances on my other bikes and consistently got 10k.  Plus they were decent on gravel, but noisy.  Tourance Next were 6.5K, not overly impressive.

I have a set of Anakee 3's sitting to try next.  The VFR is not going to see the level of unimproved roads the others did so it seems reasonable.  Plus I'm not as much of a squid anymore so the Anakee's sound appropriate.

I'm off on mileage this year (6K?) but I typically do 10K or more miles with a good chunk of commuting so I hate changing tires multiple times a year.

I'm using Michelin Anakee Adventure now and I'm pretty happy with it.

Before I tried Metzeler Tourance, Tourance EXP and Karoo Street and these Anakee Adventure are better on and off-road (mild off-road, let's say...) and so far looks they will last longer.

First I have never ever gotten more than 10000 miles out of any tire on any bike I have owned. I don't no how riders get the mileage they claim to get. But I have yet to accomplish this feat.

I have a continental trail attack 2 on the front of the CT with 10000 miles on it and will be replacing next week. The back is a trail attack 3. A 3" screw took out the trail attack 2 on the back. Not sure if I am going with the trailer attack 3's or the continental tkc70.

I really like these tires, good mileage for me, quiet, good on pavement, okay on dirt roads, nothing dicey.
