TIME FOR A CHANGE !

After six plus years on the CT, I've decided to go for the new VFR800x CrossRUNNER.
45kg lighter and still the same V4, although a Vtech.

I'd just like to thank all on here for some great info, good topics of conversation, and I've even made one or two friends and met up with a few members.
It's been a fab bike and a great forum, so I'm sure I'll pop back online here now and agin and see how it's going, but looking forward to getting to know the new bike and joining up with another bunch in the near future.

Glad to hear that you’ll be popping along on occasions as it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the Crossrunner especially as 45kg is a considerable weight difference.

Heck I didn't know there even WAS an 800X Crossrunner? 45kg less sounds great though, I hope you post your thoughts here after riding it some.

Yup wishing slightly that it was available here.  But this site is like Costco.  Every time I come here I want to spend more money on something that I may not really need!

No it's not. It's actually only 35 kg lighter. Crosstourer is 277 kg wet with manual gearbox, Crossrunner is 242 kg. 277 - 242 = 35. Not 45.

CrossTOURER is 287kg (Honda official spec), CrossRUNNER 242kg as you say.
Who cares anyway, my choice was to reduce the weight and try new spec bike.
Both great bikes, both have the fab V4.
