    Not the Usual Screen Question

I have a 66 plate (2016) model CT Highlander that I purchased two weeks ago.

I have a fixed screen (which has confused me a little as I read that they changed to the adjustable screen that year) and so ordered a engimoto bracket for a 2015 model (fixed screen as I thought).

It's  arrived today and is too short to mount on the existing screen fixings.

I have done some research and can only find brackets for adjustable screens for 2016 models and onwards.  The screen is a geniune Honda item but now I'm confused.

Is it common to have a fixed screen on a 2016 model, I assume if it is that Honda updated the brackets spacing from what they were on a 2015 model and finally has anyone managed to source a bracket that fits the screen mounts on a 2016 model?

The VIN number of your bike will tell your its a 2015 or 2016 MODEL.
And yes the spacing of the screens differ so a 2016 screen can never fit a pre 2016 model or vice versa.
The plastics around the cockpit also differ in a 2016 model, look at my Pinterest for the pics
