First try with the Insta360 One X and the overcapture function

A bit of a "technical" video using a Insta360 One X 360 degrees camera with an "invisible selfie stick".
This was my first ride with the One X and I still have to explore what is possible with a camera like this.  :084:

I used keyframing and overcapture, but this guy can explain it much better :028: for who is interested:

Excellent.  I wanted to see someone's motorcycle report with the insta360.  It looks interesting proposal.  taking advantage of the instance I am interested to see what supports you use for the GPS, if later you can share a photo of the element.  cheeerrrrssss

How have you attached the selfie stick?  I don't think you're holding it.

Next week I take delivery of a Rylo 360, which a friend is bringing me from the States.  The software is geared towards overcapture (though you can still produce traditional 360 movies) and is less complicated/more intuitive that Insta360 Studio.  The image stabilisation is also second to none, which suits the sort of footage you're producing.

Basic tutorial on using the software (which is also available for Mac)

Real downside with the One X is that the Venture Case 2 is not available at all so the device is not waterproof/water-resistant now and the lenses could damage pretty easy.

The GPS mount was already mounted when I bought the CT. It is a pretty simple looking metal piece mounted to the windshield "holder". On the mount is a RAM MOUNT 1" ball where you can mount anything you want with other RAM MOUNT components like the Tomtom Rider 500 but it also could be a Gopro camera.

I still have to make some pictures of it.

Yes, I used a feiyu-tech gimbal extender though instead off the the basic Insta360 stick.
For the other angle I used a RAM MOUNT suction mount but that was very unstable.
I am still looking for better mounting options and angles to create some useful footage.

The Insta360 software interface is indeed not the best. They should take a look at the MS Moviemaker interface.

I am looking forward to some Rylo 360 footage and tips for better and stable mounting points.

Here is the solution: I already have that support, I can add the RAM MOUNT ball.

Attentive to the results of the Rylo camera and mounting options.
