I just wanted to say hello - I'm a new member from Indiana. I purchased a new 2016 VFR1200x DCT earlier this week. I've put a few hundred miles on it and loving it so far. I'm eager to share experiences here and start accessorizing my new ride. I previously had a 2012 NC700x and a couple smaller bikes before that, so the VFR is a big step up.

Congrats and welcome!  I formerly owned an NC700X too.  I regret not keeping it.  Love the VFRX though.  Beautiful riding around the Kentuckiana area for sure.  Enjoy the bike in good health!

Thank you! Not many hills in my area, but you don't have to go too far to find them. No mountains though. We have some decent forests and twisty roads in the southern part of the state.

One of the reasons I wanted to upgrade from the NC700x is that I can reach more interesting roads/geography much more easily on the VFR. Unfortunately the near-record heat is keeping me from any long trips this week. Hoping to put on some more miles in the next few weeks.
