    Top Box Recommendation

    Hey Guys,
There have been a lot of threads on here regarding top boxes so I'm wondering for those that have one, which brand and model do you recommend? I'm looking for a relatively small one around 30 to 40 liters that I would only use occasionally for trips. I have a tail bag that works fine for day rides. What do you think?

    Thanks,
    Marc

I have a Givi Trekker luggage setup comprising of a 52l top box and 2x 33l panniers. If out for the day or maybe a night I’ll use one of the 33l panniers as a topbox.

I was just looking at the Givi V40 Monokey with bike specific mounting plate. What do you think of that one?

All down to personal choice Marc, choose the one that suits your requirements.
I’ve had several Givi boxes over the years and never had any issues with any of them. You’ll not go far wrong with Givi, also consider Kappa, same stuff, little cheaper.

There are two types of Givi top box mount for the CT, plastic one and an aluminium one. I fitted the aluminium one as it looks a little better when the top box isn’t fitted.

I have the Givi outback on mine.  Small one.  I had a Givi on my Wee the more rounded style I can't remember the model.  I had a pelican case on my GS.  I actually prefer the rounded style for commuting the Outback for road tripping.  Just due to how everything fits even though they are the same "size"
