I think they have, though others believe not.

Yes, Honda have discontinued the CT, it's not been listed on the Honda worldwide bike site for some months now, but dealers still list it because there are of course still unsold stocks of the CT.

I was told by a Honda employee that, whilst they had been able to modify the engine to comply with Euro4 they would not be able to do enough to achieve Euro5 emissions and so production would stop in 2018/19.
That is why I bought one now, I like to buy machines at the end of their development, when the bugs are ironed out.

There's a lot of this in the industry right now.  The old, beloved Kawasaki KLR is RIP as well.  There's a rumor the Suzuki Vstrom is at risk.  Be interesting to see what the new models will be in the next 2-3 years.

I would like to see whats coming!

If I remember correctly, I thought there was some industry info on a massive Africa Twin in the 1200cc class.  Wonder if that will happen???    Maybe they will do this and name the new bike the TransAlp!   hahahahaha

We all know the trend is for mid-sized.  Be interesting if Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki will come out with laced rims, twin engine 700cc class.

I really like Honda.  I was not sure if I would like the DCT but I absolutely love it.  I wonder what future models will have the DCT option or if other manufacturers will move in that direction?  I do not miss shifting one bit as I ride very tame, to begin with.  I wonder if that Neowing will come to production too.  It looks kind of interesting.

Maybe the wrong thread...may be a good conversation starter too.
