XXI century racism
on: May 20, 2019, 07:52:37 PM
Here is how I see this forum when accessing it via VPN:

And here is how it looks when I'm trying to access it directly (without VPN):

Why? Because this site's admin blocked Russian IPs from accessing.

That's exactly how racism looks in XXI century. Now you've seen it.

Yep, we block several countries that continually hack the forum. I know it's unfortunate but I'm not apologising for it as there's been 139,000 (yes one hundred and thirty nine thousand) attempts in the past 12 months. Prevention takes time and effort.

Maybe you could ask your politicians to sort the hacking problem out ??

Do you actually want a forum or not ?

I use a VPN to access sites in other parts of the world so it works both ways. No big deal.

The forum is FREE so .....  :027:

(It's not racism btw.)

Oh.... and I would have replied politely to you if you'd posted in the same manner, but unfortunately you didn't....   :151:

Sadly this is a consequence of XXI century cyber security.
Go and speak to the security team in a reasonable sized company and ask them where do the hacks come from and how many …
You learn from experience, so +1 for the admin's comments

Also, as a result of GDPR many US online organisations simply decided it was too hard and blocked European IPs.  Not XXI century racism either.
