    Which model do I have ?

    Hi all
    I have a 2016 (registration plate) Crosstourer,it has:
    Crash bars (silver)
    Luggage
    Extra low level lights

    It does not have:
    charging point/socket
    Three sport levels (only one)
    I have read that 2016 models have three sports modes and a charging point,so which one is this ?

    you can check your VIN number to know the model year

    F means its a 2015 model
    C = 2012 (this year never has an Area code)
    D = 2013 (this year never has an Area code)
    E = 2014
    F = 2015
    G = 2016
    H = 2017
    J = 2018

    What colour is it? (they tend to change colours each MY). My guess is that it's a 2015MY.

    As far as I’m aware, genuine 2016 models officially came in one colour scheme. Red over black on the tank.
    2016 also was the first to have the lever adjustable screen and 3 “S” modes on the DCT.
    Any bike without the lever adjustable screen is a pre 16 model regardless of year of registration.

    For example, my bike is a 15 model , silver over black DCT 1 “S” mode on a 66 plate, date of reg, 01/01/17.

    Just yo add, it’s not a problem to have an earlier model than the reg as long as you know what you’re buying.

    And with the adjustable screen and 3 sport modes you also got a Euro4 compliant bike. Which, one day, will be important for going into central London.

    Colours are country specific, for instance in UK the colour blue was available 2018 but not in other parts of west europe.
