Since watching Charlie and Ewan do it twice on DVD.... multiple times, I have dreamed of this trip for over a decade.

And it's not becoming of me to be fearful, but with the attitude many have of Americans on some of that route, I will probably never attempt the adventure.  Heck, as an American.... I probably couldn't even obtain travel documents in some of those countries on that route.

So for me... I will explore North America, maybe Italy and the Alps, maybe GB-Ireland and would love to ride across Australia.

Many dreams and not enough time to do it all!

Ok, we’re underway.
Left Zurich on the 16th, currently in Vilnius. Lithuania.

No issues with the CT. Knight Design pegs doing their job, added bonus is my boot no longer catches between the brake pedal and the DCT. Happy with them despite the price :005:

Mmoto crash bars were a cock up. They sent me bars for a manual, despite me specifying DCT. Oh well, let’s hope the light bars are tougher than they look. Perhaps the tank panniers will soak up some damage.

Bike is super comfortable. 10 hr days no issue, but German buddy is screaming for mercy by then, despite his Touratech seat.

Hartley, saw a white CT in Poland! Never seen so many Africa Twins or Varadero’s.
