GREETINGS FROM BARCELONA, SPAIN
« on: April 13, 2019, 08:38:17 PM »
Hello everyone.

Happy owner of a Yam Tenere 660, I feel like changing to a CT. Reason: I am growing old (now 60) and my back is suddenly  touring oriented.
Previous bikes: 4 Yam tenere 2 Honda xr600, 1 Africa Twin 750, · 3 piaggio, 1 Montesa Honda.1 Aprilia .
My background: 3 Bajas in Spain, Rally Tunisia 1992, Rally Granada Dakar 1996. Sahara dessert trips...and many other enduro races :305:

I have not ridden yet a CT but It is going to be my next bike for sure...

Greetings to all.. :002:

Great intro.

Hola and welcome Jaume..I'm sure you will enjoy the CT especially on the wonderful roads that you have on your doorstep.
I have a holiday home just up the coast from you at Aiguablava hopefully one day I will be able to bring my CT down. Have toured the area on a blackbird which was great fun and on a rented gs which was less so!
Keep posting and let us know how you get on

I know jealousy is ugly, but I have it for your riding career!  That is just awesome.  I wish that I had not retired and then returned to motorcycling with such an extended break.  Would love to have had some similar experiences.  Man, this sounds like woe is me!   Not the case!  Very happy that you have had such rich and interesting riding experiences!  Enjoy the bike.

Mike
