Hello, new member, based in Leeds, have owned my Crosstourer since 2012, love this bike, tried a few others since I passed test in 2002 but this is by far the best, love the look, power, slick (manual) gearbox, comfort, height and probably most of all the shaft drive.
Dropped it a couple of times but apart from a snapped clutch lever and bent gear selector hardly any damage, very well built and the big 1237cc engine feels no strain which goes a long way to prolonging the life of the bike.
Have it fully serviced at correct intervals at the local main dealer, who are a family business and really good/helpful, have built a trust and rapport with the staff there over the 7 years iv'e had the bike.
She's just covered 32k and still as sweet as the day i got her, I very nearly px 'd for a new Africa twin AS, got a great trade in offer, but the thought of chain and tubed tyres put me off, so, I gave the old girl a good scrub and polish and fell in love with her again.
A mate of mine recently bought a Triumph explorer 1200 , it was ok, lots of torque, but I much prefer my crosstourer, its lush

Thanks, sure you love yours as much as I do mine, only ever once went wrong and that was my fault for jet washing which led to water ingress into the electrics, the bike was jumpy for a couple of days but after drying off the connectors it was back to its finest

Welcome Jonny! This is a pretty good bike.  Not that many low points to mention.  Though I have never ridden the Tiger, I understand that is the case with that bike too.  Be safe!
