I'm all alone
« on: March 13, 2019, 03:44:05 PM »
Am I the most isolated CT owner in Wales/England, I'm in mid Wales and looking at the member pins on the members map there are no current members listed from all the way from the south Wales valleys to the north Wales coastal region, even east into England there are no current members for a long way, I realize some members won't have put pins on the map however.  :027:
Scotland I haven't included, I noticed one pin in the Atlantic about 200 miles off Scotland's west coast  :005:

With the terrible weather we're having for the last two weeks I'm bored hence this post.  :012:

I'm here all the time  :159: currently I'm looking at massive floods and rivers cascading down the fields and hills, tree branches lying all over the place due to gales.  :012: great !

Hello,

Don't despair - You won't be on your own for long with luck as retirement looms and we hope to be on our way to the South of Wales around Cardigan/Tenby as not finally decided and the motorcycles will form very much of my post working life with a lot more riding I hope!

Best regards,

David :028:

I always get the impression there's a bit of confusion re' south Wales and mid Wales  :034: I for example live 14 miles south west of Welshpool and 5 miles south of Llanfair Caereinion, the benefit of this is that in  the week days the majority of roads are effectively empty of traffic even many of the A class roads, I have a couple of biker pals who live in the midlands (Stafford and Shifnal/Telford) who occasionally join me in mid Wales and they are amazed at these empty roads 'specially B and C class roads, plus of course the Welsh scenery, I was planning on going to the Wistanstow (near Craven Arms in Shropshire) bike show this coming Sunday, the current forecast is snow/sleet/rain  :013:
Same as last year when we had 2/3 feet of snow here, see pic of my house being plowed out. :003:
