Dct D&S on dash staying on together
« on: February 10, 2019, 02:06:17 PM »
hello all, hope someone can help, recently brought my crosstourer Dct model, have a slight issue with the dash, when I start the bike up the D&S stay on together even when I go from neutral to drive they both still stay on together, the bike rides perfect just want it to show whether im in drive or sport. Pictures attached, first picture is in neutral D&S both lit up, second picture is in drive same issue both lit up, thanks Sam.

Hi, sounds like it needs the Clutch initialise learning. see attached pic. If you bought it from dealer like that I would get them to do it. You can do it yourself either. Theres a combination of buttons to press to achieve it listed in the service manual.

Does the large "L" come on when the bike is cold like in the screenshot I attached in earlier post? if so it would suggest thats the issue, if it doesn't it may be something else.

Theres a post on clutch initialising here:

Thanks for your help I'll pop into my local Honda dealer see if a technician can have a look at it other than this issue the bike rides without fault. 😁
