Adding flush mount turn signals to pannier
« on: February 01, 2019, 08:41:21 PM »
I want to replace the reflectors on the Honda OEM panniers with flush mount turn signals.  Problem is that the turn signals on the bike are 9v (correct?), so I am thinking of adding a step up converter to go from 9v to 12v which will power a 12v relay which in turn will power my new flush mount indicators.

I'm thinking the draw on the OEM turn signal circuit will be very low and it should not damage the circuit.

Thoughts?
