I've a Schuberth C3 and an E1, the peak on E1 rattled in the turbulence and was at an odd angle for my position, so I ride without it. I really like the quality of both, but some helmets fit some peoples head shapes better than others - you have to try them on.

Both suite my shoei head, so wanted some feed back from folks who had owner them.

I feel the Klim is a bit to summer trail orientated from comments, not so good in cold wet nights.

I really like a peak, dont need a flip up, but the E1 flips. Surprised to hear the peak vibrates, that would bug me

With the peak off, whats the main different between the E1 and C3

Thanks

Not much difference between the E1 & C3, just cosmetics - my C3 is a bit older and has a 'plusher' lining.

I have read that if you take the peak off the E1 you basically have a C3 pro.

Must say at the discounted prices I am tempted with E1 although I dont need the flip up, but hey, maybe I can find another cheap shoei

Did you not adjust the peak, it has 3 different settings??

I just bought a Schuberth E1 and my peak doesn't rattle, although it was a little on the low side for my liking. Once I found out there were 3 settings and how to adjust it, I now have it in the highest setting (and it still doesn't rattle!).

I found the peak does vibrate/wobble a bit, but does not rattle
