Hi,any body replaced the Oem ones with the oxford ones? Just wondering if you can connect to the same plug the oem’s are connected to behind the top fairing or weather have to run to the battery.

Ive got the Oxford Adventure ones fitted. They are great. Yes they fit same way to the panel and I also had Honda switch fitted in the blank next to the TC switch. Fitted by dealer at same time as my first service at one hour labour cost. Switch was about 15 quid Ithink but far better and neater than the handlebar mounted one you get with the grip kit.

Good news! Did you just chop the wires on the oem plug or sorce a new plug?

As I say, all fitted by dealer mech, as I did not have the OEM ones on my new bike. It's a 2013model and at the time they were an extra...( at silly price) so I opted to buy the Oxfords and have them fitted.

Another vote for the Oxford Adventure ones. Bike shop wired them in via a relay, not sure if they plugged into the loom directly.

But they are great. Never had to use them on full power, but quite often put them up to 30% on a chilly day. 3/4 power on a cold day. Not had any problem whatsoever. Thumbs up from me.  :152:

    Good product.
Guess they would sell more if it didn’t have OXFORD carved deeply into both grips.
I wouldn’t fit them to any of my bikes for that reason alone.

I also lived in Oxford for many years.

But they do work - and flawlessly so far (probably jinxed it there).

Perhaps you need to rise above that Oxford thing. ;-)
