Hello to all other Crosstourer members I would just like to say hello & am looking forward to hearing about & getting advice from fellow owners of this bike. I have just acquired a 2012 RED Crosstourer with a couple of accessories fitted & only 49000ks on the clock so not many ks at all really. Have always owned a Honda Motorbike last one was a CBR1100XX which I had for 14 years with no issues ever until I traded it in on a Aprilia Caponord which was my biggest mistake ever. Not sad to see that piece of crap go back to the dealer at all?? Hopefully this Honda will give me as many happy years as my Blackbird did.

Thanks Kenbeau62

Hi Ken and  :400: along to the colleCTive.
Enjoy your new CT and yes it will certainly give you many more of km’s of trouble free pleasure, unlike the Caponord.  :028:

Hi Kenbeau62 and welcome from Ireland.

I assume it is the 1200 Caponord you are referring to? A few of us on here had the first 1000 Caponord and they were a great bike, personally I had mine for 9 years and 80000klms without a breakdown, very fond memories.
Can you give us a short version of the problems please.... ( I know very little of the later 1200 Caponord but they should be still better than a Ducati.....)
