Hello to all fellow members , Posting this to introduce myself my name is Kevin and  have been into bikes since  1979 and  i've Just converted to a CT 2012 model from being a BMW owner for over 20 years and i am seriously impressed with this bike.

The build quality is excellent on the CT  and the upright riding position is superb , i looked at a GS last week and was seriously unimpressed with corrosion issues on frame and engines cases, I cant wait to get the bike over to France next year .

    Welcome Kevin

it's been a few years since I've been to Jersey, in fact it was when Yamaha introduced the new Diversion F so I thought it would be great to ride it there for running in (as your max speed limits are the length of a footy pitch  :138: )

France is perfect CT country & despite their advertising I think BMW are now losing as many customers as they gain especially over build issues

Hi Viffer 18, if you thought the Islands speed limits were bad then they are worse now , With a maximum of 30 mph in most places.

That's why i try to get to France or further 4-5 times a year. It's almost impossible to get out of 2nd gear and stay legal😂
