I know this topic is somewhat old, but i have just been getting pads together for a lock-down brake pad swap out - yee-ha!!

As usual i looked around and spotted the following in case anyone else is thinking the same - they seem pretty good value, genuine Honda and from a known source - our friends at North West/Blackpool Honda.  They arrived in three days.

Front pad set: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Honda-VFR1200X-Crosstourer-2012-2015-Front-Brake-Pads-Set-Left-Right/274297812512?hash=item3fdd6c7620:g:mogAAOSw~15eYjZA

Rear only: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Honda-VFR1200X-Crosstourer-2012-2015-Rear-Brake-Pads-06435-MGE-D01/302835073043?epid=737551340&hash=item4682608013:g:C-4AAOSwHp5baYf0

On a side topic i also picked up some (non-Honda) handbrake pads (EBC) - it seems that they are scooter pads according to the packaging.

Why the expensive OEM?
I always use Ferodo brakepads.

Sure, lots of people have preferences for pads which are not OEM, I have no issue with that. I know EBC also have a good reputation ... and SBS ... and others too... and then there are the different compounds ...

To keep it simple, if I can get genuine Honda for little more than non-OEM then that's my preference and, I suspect, many others. They have served me well for the last 18,000 miles so it's an easy choice.

Love and peace.
