Hi all. On a resent trip to Barmouth in wales on a windy bank holiday . I had
Not planed to do a fuel range check loaded up and sole riding with camping gear so on Monday
With an early 06.30 start to take down tent to a void taking down in the rain so 10 miles west of Shrewsbury on the A458 at the shell garage  let's see how far I get on a full tank down
The M54 then M6 then M42 and the M40 thinking I should make Jun 2 services bearing
In mind traffic was building up 3 lanes just about at times 70mph on our clocks so pulled in at Jun two on M40 down to my last bar on main tank plus reserve I decided let's go for full range via the M25 then A30 to stains thinking it I make there pass the M3 Jun 1 on to the A3 off at near worcest park Croydon  then west Wickham when on to reserve  with just four miles to home for a big bus like the CT the CT had done well

So, in the end we don't know how many miles/kms you got. What was the point of the thread again?

I’ve done just over 200 a couple of times but I’ll admit I was getting a little twitchy.

I got to 335 km (about 210 miles) on a very long, empty stretch of motorway in Bulgaria coming out of Turkey when the instruments stopped reading km remaining and I was left using the trip meter. I was looking to turn back to a service station on the other side which was just coming up and I made a mental note of the trip meter as I passed it. I think it stopped reading at about 16km to go. Luckily a contraflow gap appeared in the central reservation that allowed a motorbike to do a u turn 7km further on and I limped back with a total of 347 kms on the trip since last fill up. I calculated that as I turned back, I had 8km left (theoretical). I stopped counting and prepared to push to the service station. That was not a happy hour but it confirmed that the fuel gauge is probably accurate and at worst it is not optimistic...

I've never hit 200 miles on a tank. I'm known to be heavy handed on the throttle though.  :034:

Consistently get about 200 miles on the tank before the fuel light flashes.
4500 miles to date MPG range is 42-50 MPG US miles and gallons avg trend is 45-46
