Michelin Pilot Road 4 Trail Rear Tire

I tried to order a Michelin Pilot Road 4 Trail Rear Tire (150/70R17). I was informed on a (US) Michelin chat line that the tire is discontinued for that size. I like that tire, that's what I have on now!  I'll try to get a left over from a supplier.

Your 'bucket list" is to come ride here? Sure I'd recommend it.  There are not many places to rent a bike but I know one. I'm actually taking a two week tour with a friend coming from Germany. It's is first time in North America. If you want to chat some more, you can send me an e-mail @ beemer@nbnet.nb.ca. I can send you information / highlights. Don't expect to see mountain ranges like you have in Europe but it's still nice. I'd be glad to take you on a tour if you come by when I'm available.

This might be obvious, but... you know that there is a replacement, right? The Pilot 5 Trail, they lost the "road" part in the name.
It's the same thing with improved wet weather performance, or so Michelin claims.

Have those on mine, big fan of them.

What's the difference between the road version and the trail version except for different wheel size availability?

Never liked the PR4 on the CT, had 3 but not good in all honesty, just better than the very bad original tyres.

The lastest is Road 5 :164:

Think its the max speed it is rated for.

I'll try the "Road" 5 next time. I just assumed the "trail" might have been made specifically for adventure bikes.
