Thanks Richard for your reply, and your firms action in offering aa discount to forum members.
The hugger is a useful product and goes a small way to address the spray problem. Its a shame it can't be bigger -the need is still there otherwise BMW wouldnt make the weird extra "bit" under the number plate.
Has your firm ever considered making a "hugger extender " or is that a retro step too far?

Hi Bazza,

No, we've never considered making a hugger extender as we tend to make large rear huggers straight away.

Have you seen this product ? It's a rear mud deflector which is attached to the number plate holder on the bike.

thanks for that Richard.Obviously the 2 cannot join up as the swinging arm needs to .... swing  but would like see one in the flesh.I assume its purpose is to stop spray being thrown on following vehicles
I nearly go back as far as the "bathtub" Triumph 350/ 500 era but the days of bikes that were used mostly as cheap commuters are long gone in UK -unless you count under 200cc . So bigger bikes have to ape the racers or in the CT type -keep weight as low as possible.
It would be great to meet sometime after lockdown -do you ever do factory visits or just rely on shows for PR ?

We do have a showroom at our factory in Rustington (postcode BN16 3LF) which is open during our normal working hours (9 - 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday). Most of the time however we go to shows (NEC/Excel London etc) when they are running.

All the best,
Richard
