CT lives to fight another day
« on: July 14, 2018, 09:53:44 PM »
I regret to say I have posted my CT for sale  :003:
It is a great bike , and I love the way it motors but .... I do not want to drop it again  :156:
So . I spied a KTM 1050 for sale, mmm I thought , wonder how it compares to my old 990'
So I takes it out for a spin ....now this bike is 'as New'
Fist big No... its slightly taller  :084:
and second .. where is all this V twin performance ???
Now I know its the restricted one , but still its meant to have 95 ponies somewhere ???
So despite a fair trade in offer , I say No thanks
I jump back on the CT , yup its more comfortable
The givi screen is much better
Its got sooooo much more low down power
and its much more solid- you know feels better put together- despite being 6 years old
So the score so far
CT 1- best of the rest 0

 Hi Hen99.
So you had your CT six years so how's had it faired with parts being replaced
Apart from wear of use I am about to get shot of mine CTmanual and do a part exchange for another CT manual  with about the same miles this would be a long keep I have done just over 25.000 miles but don't have funds for the ballon payment so doing
A part /x is a way forward with out having to use a loan or  pcp so what sort miles have you coved if you don't mind me asking how good was the offer on a six year old CT
