Kiwi Crossie - Options for DCT crash protection?

    Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of getting a new 2017 DCT Crosstourer on the road in New Zealand. So I'm looking at ways to keep the bike in good shape, and one item I am finding difficult to acquire is a set of plastic covers to protect the DCT gear box (Right side of engine), as well as the left side of the engine.

I saw a video on YouTube of a VFR1200X fitted with a good plastic cover, and I've attached a photo. Has anyone seen this DCT cover, or one similar, and know where they can be purchased?

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to learning more about this fantastic motorcycle once I'm on the road...

Check the cost of the DCT cover from Honda. I paid about £60. Why would you pay so much more for a cover that does the same job? Honda know what they're doing.
Just love my HONDA Crosstourer dct, and my manual TDM900.

    Hello Hartley,

Thanks for the feedback, I spent a long time scouring the net and didn't come across this DCT cover, so thanks very much for your help!

    Thanks Yasko,

Likewise, ride safe, and enjoy the UK summer riding season which should be under way soon if the weather is playing its part!

Thanks mate, yeah I'm itching to go for a ride once the bike has passed compliance testing.

Have fun riding through the UK summer!
