    Textile jacket recommendations needed

I am thinking of getting a summer lightweight textile and was wondering if anyone could recommend any particular make.
I’m not interested in spending a fortune aka Klim, Rukka etc., but anything around the £100 mark.

Are you after something that’s also waterproof Dave or a lightweight mesh type sort of thing?

At that sort of price I think I’d be looking a brand like RST.

Maybe take a ride over to a J&S store, loads to choose from,  could maybe pick up something  nice thats been reduced.

You should be never temp fate Dave. Do what I did last year. Bought some new waterproofs and never used them  :046: ( better than a summer jacket you never use. ) To honest I have a  great lightweight  jacket . With built in rain jacket !!! But I only use it a couple of times  each year  :110: Trouble is with these summer jackets...they tend to be a bit mean on the pockets.

Yes, I currently have an RST Adventure textile jacket which is excellent but even with the vents open is a little hot, especially when I visit Spain so thought that I’d get a more summer based lightweight/mesh style jacket with a waterproof insert.
I’ll check out both the RST range Paul as I always find them great value for money and J&S stores but just wondered what other folks where using.  :028:

Just bought RST Jacket and Trousers on a deal from M&P

With free RST Storm gloves, the whole lot came in at below £200 - bargain

Jacket and trousers have full venting system and body armour is CE approved

Only initial concern is that RST only do one length on the trousers and I'm a short-arse - however when on the bike with bent knees, they are comfortable

Worth seeing if they still have the deal on at M&P - if not wait till they do one of their "20% off online orders" weekend specials

I have used RST for my last three jackets I am pleased with the good all-round gear at a price that is affordable. But i had a triumph jacket that was excellent except for the big T logo on the front, I would have stayed with this brand but it got to dear for my budget,I try to stay under the £199 to £299 loop.

Hi Dave, what about the Buffalo brand, mate of mine has had one of their jackets for a few years now and loves it, waterproof too.   :028:

    Only about 80/90 quid.
keep it shiny side up !!!
