    Fuel Consumption

I’ve seen many reviews of the Cross Tourer where people are complaining that it’s heavy on fuel and the tank is too small.
I don’t know what their problem is, I can easily get 200 miles on a tank which compares well to the 2009 GS 1200  that I had. as well the 2011 Moto Guzzi Stelvio that I previously owned.
The attached pictures show 205.7 miles on 19.99 litres (46.8 mpg). This was 2 days commuting through traffic to work + 100 miles 2 up enjoying the sunshine yesterday.
On the open road I can get 50 to 53 mpg.
I might not be the quickest rider out there but I’m also no where near the slowest.

Can’t follow you with does figures, but I agree if one rides without excesses the bike can easily run over 300 km with a full tank at an average of almost 18 km/l  :169:

I’m averaging just under 48, best I’ve seen on long motorway ride is 55 mpg. I don’t have any issue with CT tank range.

Some people will complain about anything . Are these the same people that moan about a Range Rover not doing 40 mpg !!!! Lets all look at the basic maths. You have a bike getting on for 300kgs ( loaded with bits ) a big V4 engine and the aerodynamics of a fridge( nearly ) should you choose to ride everywhere on max throttle. You will get down to 25-30 mpg.If like most of us you sit at 75/85 on the motorway you will get 45/48 mpg

I love the Crosstourer, its turn of speed and handling. It can really be gunned and you will have fantastic fun using that fantastic V4 engine. Yes my MPG is probably lower than most, but unless I am touring I just fill her up and go hooning. Big smiles aboard a strong reliable machine - Its what life is about.

    open road, 80-100km/h, i got 5-5,5L/km, the best was 4,9 (80km/h in 6-gear) , compared to V-Strom 650DL K6 that i previously own which is 400km per tank.
