S4MST3R here - picked up a CrossTourer the other day

I’ve had three DCT CRF1000 Africas for the past couple of years - the CrossTourer joins my XRV Africa, a 101k miled VFR800, last of the carbed VFR750F-V, a pair of C90’s, a new CBR650 and others

Grabbed the CT blind without any real research - seems OK, was expecting more character from the V4 but goes well with nice torque.  Tall screen is poor - Givi Airflow has been recommended

Look forwarded to reading up on the years of knoweldge of this ride that you’ve all accumulated here

Thanks Bill - looing forward to getting to know a new machine.  The linked brakes came as a pleasant surprise and took me back to the SuperBlackie days.  Looking around the forums I’m spotting a few old faces from the BIRD forum :-)

Enjoy the CT I'm really happy with mine after just a few weeks and 1,000 miles. Agreed regarding the linked brakes, very well balanced on both CT and BB. Hell of a lot better than the GTR1400 where however I braked and with either of the front wheel bias settings, the front end would dip badly.
