    Help with sidelamp bulb needed.

If anyone can give me advice or post a link to something which will show me how to remove the headlamp unit on my 2014 ct. I just popped into the garage to replace a side lamp led bulb- 2 minute job-oh no! I managed to detach the bulb from the holder which then dropped into the bottom of the headlamp I can't for the life of me wriggle/grip or otherwise remove it. Any help would be appreciated.  :440:

I can't help but i have just today done something similar  :164:

Noticed one of my sidelights rubber socket dangling but can't find the LED 'bulb' so i noticed the other side isn't in securely so attempted to put it in properly and it fell out of the holder and down behind the plastics through a gap.

So now i have to take both sides off to see if both the bulbs are hiding in there

    Another job for tomorrow  :015:

If you think they might be magnetic you could lower a magnet on a string or otherwise use a wire 'hook' ?

I've used a thick wire with strong double sided sticky tape attached to the end of it and managed to grab it through the high beam light hole (you'll have to remove high beam bulb). Worked like a charm

This has been covered before, but to stop a possible futile search - this happened to me once. With a piece of electrical cable (2 core is best) wrap double sided tape around the end of it then carefully push it through the bulb hole and eventually the end will make contact with the bulb. Getting the bulb back through the hole was a little tricky, but with patience it worked fine. I’m now extremely careful when removing those rubber grommets holding the side bulbs!

Agreed. Always blooded knuckles changing the main bulbs too.

Thanks for the advice gents. I have been trying to winkle it out with a bent wire but look as though I've succeeded in wedging the little b*gger under the main beam housing   :232:. I did manage to remove the other bulb, which I can confirm is non magnetic, so if I can loosen the stuck one from its hidey hole the sticky tape and wire will come into play. Fingers crossed! Thanks again to everyone.
