    First purchases...

Picked up the replacement bolts/fasteners for the ones that dropped out on the ride back from picking up the CT. First purchases for a Honda since my Pan European 6-years ago...forgot how 'cheap' they are  :152: (...awaits incoming...) compared to my other bike (Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited...now they ARE expensive parts... :012:).

Also, took the advice of this forum and ordered the Workshop Manual. Farnham Honda said "...they don't do them...never heard of them..." When I gave him the part number he went quiet and said will have to order in for £39.64 (the H-D one cost me £70 !) and will take a long time... 7-days later they arrived.

Now to bolt back on what dropped off...

Good luck. Sounds about right for Harley prices. The name adds 50% to parts, clothes etc and at least 25% for the bikes  :005: and they are still making a loss  :087:

I've taken a note of the part number and I'll get the manual when I've found the right CT to purchase.
    Thanks for posting RiFAS.

I just called in to Gedge Honda in Pevensey Bay, Sussex and gave the part number. The parts man confirmed that there are two volumes to the manual and said that the cost for two would be more than £80.

Did anyone get both volumes for £46 pounds - if so, where from please.

I still have not found the download version on this forum but will persevere rather than pay £80.  Can anyone give me a link to he English version please.  I do not mind if there is a cost from a supplier.

    Regards

    Rod

I have not had any problem with mine being out of date or inaccurate (so far) and I have done a considerable amount of work on my bike.

I'd much rather have one, even if it isn't the most current, than not have anything.

Me too; which is why I bought it.

And, I'd guess that there aren't that many changes, or significant changes, since the 2012 version.
