So, with thanks to MIN and ANDREW13, I have finally been able to install mine on to my bike. :028:

Anyone looking to do this might find this useful. I will let the pictures do the talking.

    Good Post!

I got the SW-Motech Kobras installed on my '16 DCT, tricky install with a story, but they did go on, pretty much exactly as these did.

So it appears that Barkbuster should market a specific kit of parts for the DCT, rather than have to buy extra parts to make it fit. Thanks for the information  :031:

    Hello,

I have Barkbusters on my 2016 DCT with the fabric hand guards fitted at the moment.

Hopefully the attached pictures will provide an alternative method of fitting these which were purchased as a specific kit for the Crosstourer I seem to recall.

Once the weather warms up properly I will swap my plastic hand guards with the additional LED lights back on.

    Best regards,

    David :028:

Does your CT have the adjustable windscreen?

While doing some work on my bike I thought to snap a few pics of my SW-Motech hand guards, it turns out my install was a bit different from the OP
The Kobra kit came with all the hardware I needed, and only thing I left off was the LED lights, which are going on now.

    Some Photos coming up

Interesting! Your handle bars do look slightly different from mine. What kind of screw is at the bar end that goes into the handle bar? Pictures?
