    New guy from Texas

Hello from Texas.  I joined because I'm considering the purchase of a 1200X.  I think my other option is the Tenere, but I sure do like the Honda V4 motor. Expect to use it for commuting, motocamping and LD touring, with a little light off-road.

I currently ride a 2001 Honda ST1100 about 25k miles per year.  I'm pretty active on the ST Owners site, so I know the best place to find info is a forum.  I know of at least one STO guy that's on here, as quite a few ST riders have moved to other bikes.

I have several questions but I'll post them in the appropriate forum.  Thanks for having me!

    Paul

Having owned both the S10 and now the Highlander I agree with yasko, CT’s a winner.  :002:

    Thanks for the welcome gentlemen.

Dave, without getting into a big discussion about this (i'll save that for another post ;) ), what are the 2 or 3 big things you like better about the CT over the S10?  TBH, CC was a big factor for me for the S10 but I understand there's a quality aftermarket CC for the CT, so that's not a factor now.

Paul welcome. I see you a lot on the ST Owners forum. We all listen and read what others say about things they have owned, ridden, sat on, whatever, but at the end of the day the bike is for you and it must make you happy at the end not anyone else. I am thrilled with my CT as you have read on the ST forum.
