What would make a good Stable mate for the VFR-X Crosstourer?

Ok, its winter, the CT is hibernating, a small(ish) pile of farkles is growing, waiting to be installed on the CT...
Yet I somehow got the itch to add a stablemate for the CT....

I will admit that I love the CT, but I'd like something else with some sporty bad-assery built in for those days when that matters, so something that I'd ride maybe 10-20% of the time.

Several bikes have come to mind:
    Suzuki B-King
    Yamaha V-Max (1700)
    KTM Super Duke R
    Yamaha FZ10 (MT10)
    Ducati Diavel

Cost is also a factor, which really cuts that list down....  but within reason, what would be a good stable mate for the CT?

Does anyone on here have more than one bike?
    If so, what is it?
Is it worth having multiple bikes?  (I'll be honest that I'm having a bit of difficulty in justifying it to myself... but then I always come full circle)

    Any ideas?

I’ve got an XJR1300 as well as the CT, completely different. Don’t ride it a great deal anymore to be honest which is probably why it’s not running to well at the mo.

I have been toying with getting something else completely different.

Out of your list I’d say the MT10 or Super Duke would be lovely but maybe a Street or Speed Triple would open up more affordable options for me.

I’ve even test rode a Royal Enfield Bullet Chrome, surprising enjoyable on looked beautiful.

Had some cracking deals on the 1290 GT before Xmas. Mate has just bought the 390 Duke, saved nearly 1900 quid.

I've got a Moto Guzzi Griso 8V as my other bike, nice contrast to the V4 on the CT, its lumpy, noisy, grunty, pops and farts with its Arrow can on, absolutely love it, and like the CT when you're out and about its pretty exclusive, maybe something to think about if its in your budget?

The Griso is a great bike looks cool  :0461:

I personally have a Hornet because my wife likes riding every now and then, she’s got her own saddle (lowered) as she’a tiny and sometimes we ride together  :305:
