Any known problems with the DCT

My manual has done 23k with no problems but I feel like a change.

So I am looking at a dct I've ridden them so know what they are like.

I generally run my bikes to a highish mileage so my current bike is low mileage for me. As a rule 50 k plus is the norm.

So my question is any problems with dct'. Personally I have not read of any and in theory a dct is a computerised gear box so the ecu will keep the engine gearbox and wear and tear at the minimum, but you never know.

Pretty well proven tech by now I'd say and lots has already been written about user's experiences.  Google is your friend if you want more technical information about the DCT system Honda uses including amazing full color running animations, etc.  I'd say buy one with confidence!

Spot on Tc. Every gear change is the same. I only use manual gearchanging (so I also appreciate the quality switchgear) and so far have never had any sort of problem or even glitch with the DCT in 23-24k. It also simply wont allow you to make a feck-up. It is protecting me from myself. :008:

The biggest problem is: Once you've had a DCT you will never want to go back to manual.
