    HELP - TomTom expert needed

Having recently bought a new TomTom 450 World I thought it was about time I started to attempt to get my head around how to use it.  :087:

Having managing to get registered with TomTom I thought I’d check out MyDrive so logged in. All seems OK up to this point so I thought I’d plan a route, just from one point to another using it’s winding and hilly functions.
Once route was created I then “saved” it, then thought I’d export to my device which had been connected to the laptop while all this was going on. This is where my problems began.
Firstly, when I selected save, where the bloody hell does it save it to?
Secondly, how the bloody hell do I export the route to my unit?
Thirdly, I’ve heard that the route planning programme Tyre is better than MyDrive, but how do I get it.
Tried to use the TomTom help function but could not get the required information.  :012:
Now I appreciate that when I first entered the printing industry hot metal was still the print method of choice :003: and that the term “techno numpty”  :112: could be used to easily explain myself, but if there are any experienced TomTom users on here that could offer any help or assistance it would be very much appreciated.  :440:
    Many thanks in anticipation.  :028:

Sorry, don’t have a TomTom unit, so can’t help with the rest.

Just a thought Dave, I can’t help on the TomTom as I have a Garmin, however I found a lot of very useful instructional videos on YouTube when I was trying to get to grip with the Garmin.

    All sorted for now.
Apparently, after phoning there helpline it turned out that I hadn’t entered the log in info into the unit itself. Once I’d done this all the routes and POI’s that I’d done in MyDrive appeared on the unit.
Thanks for the help guys, appreciate it.  :028:
