    Leo Vince Exhaust.... Test!

    Hello,

Well I took the plunge and have fitted a Leo Vince End can. I have a full tank of fuel so lets see what the next few tankfuls bring by way of fuel mileage!

With the Akro (baffles out) I used to see around 9.5 on the average trip computer setting on my daily (60 mile round trip) commute to London so I hope to see improvement as suggested by recent posts on here.

If it does then the whole bit where I convinced SWMBO that this will pay for itself will have been worthwhile :001:

    Watch this space!

    Best regards,

    David :028:

    Hello,

First 30 mile commute trip done and 9.6 showing on the "AV" display. Up until I hit the traffic it was at 11.2 most of the way up the A2 but then dropped as I went through some of the London traffic hotspots.

Whatever the results it makes a very pleasing sound - I would say nicer that the Akro pipe I replaced it with!

    Best regards,

    David :028:

    Hello,

First tank done and the result is....

....No difference really. 9.5 on the AV display and tank on reserve at about 180 miles.

Another tank being digested with the baffle removed - Lets see what that gives me.

My journey consists of around 20 miles of fast A road or Motorway and then about 10 miles of filtering & London traffic.

At the end of the day I am not that fussed about whether it gives me more mpg - It does make a nice sound and looks good on the motorcycle when compared to the original Honda system or the Akropovic I had on it previously.

I will add more to this in due course  but in my humble opinion I can't see the mpg improving much overall.

    Best regards,

    David :028:

Hmpf.  Very much the personal preference I think.  I see no benefit over stock except weight and that is nit picking.  I don't rightly understand the need to make more noise just for the sake of it so stock will stay on mine.
