    Your thoughts please

I'am  looking to change one of my bikes for the CT. My question is which one, I have a varadero, which I guess would be the obvious one to change.
But I have a Aprilia tuono factory, owned from new, I love the ape, but don't get much use out of it. So I guess i'am looking for anyone who changed, from something similar as the Tuono.
    If you had any regrets.
Unfortunately it's not an option to keep them both, and get the CT. The boss/ better half, says I already have to many 😀😀.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Mlu,
i went from a Blackbird to the CT, i do miss the power of the Blackbird ,but there are rewards from owning the CT, and the biggest for me is the sitting up riding position, so comfy( as the Blackbird was) on journeys and you can see more over vehicles in front of you.
Hopefully after a short while you'll love the CT like a lot of us on here do.
    Good luck Mlu.   :028: :305: :305:
keep it shiny side up !!!

I'd keep the Aprilia, so different to the CT.
I have my XJR when I want something different to play on.

Keep the Tuono, I've got my Guzzi Griso 8v as my contrast to the CT and love both because they're different and enjoy riding one as much as the other.
The rawness of the Guzzi V twin is a lovely contrast to the smoothness of the Honda V4, it's a great position to be in having the two bikes to play with.  :152: :152: :152:

Hi  Mlu - Tell you what --- If you are not sure which to keep --- sell me the Tuono for £20.  ... No wait....... and If you think you have made a mistake I'll sell it back to you for £30 , Just think making a mistake that only costs you a tenner -- to put right.  :164:

I'm going to be different and say keep the Varadero, I've had two of them in the past in fact the last one is in the back of the garage fairing stripped off awaiting to be converted into something with 96k on the clock. To me the best touring bike I've ever owned and looking at motorcycle news they hold there price when compared to a CT.

The C T is a fantastic bike and like the Varadero very underrated, Honda lost interest with the former and now the latter as a company they've lost the plot. (Old man Honda must be turning in his grave) :019:

If you lived in UK I would say keep the Varadero for use in the bad weather but as you live in Spain then the Aprilia is the choice to keep with better all round weather there and the Aprilia offers a different type of ride.

    Tuono!

The Vara is quite similar to a CT. Nice being able to ride something different or even just to tend.

A very nice choice to have. :305:
