Looks great. Always good not to have a route planned in stone as you'll know weather can be changeable (to put it politely) in the mountains. Because the Pyrenees are a string of mountains though, its really easy to head down onto the plains to try and escape the black clouds & thunder and lightning!

If the weather is great and you decide to do more in the hills, have a look at the Port de Bonaigua road, hang a right as you leave Vielha (quite a nice ski-resort so cheap accom in summer) to the north. Its the highest pass in the Pyrenees IIRC. Wild horses and big white coo's cutting about.

Hi there all, I have taken the chance on this thread to warn all that plan to visit France that dear old  :172:  Macron has decided that for our security  :008: the speed limit on all roads without a central divsion is being reduced from 90kmh  to 80kmh  :232: it should come into effect 1st Jully 2018 just in time to catch the holiday makers, :005:  so you will get more time to appreciate the countryside :008: and help repay the French debt with your fines  :821:

Me and a couple of buds have just booked for the Pyrenees at the end of May / start of June.

Haven't worked out any details yet though.
