    2018 trip

Ferry to Santander booked for end of June , rough plan is Picos, Pyrenees, Milau and back to Calais and that's about as far as I've got. Now all the research and planning starts.
    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

That sounds like a great trip Paul. I would be very interested to know your chosen route mate as it's a trip that I would love to replicate myself.  :028:

    Follow and plan the N260

What a  road - unbelievable scenery and fast sweeping bends

Thanks Bert, looks like quite a road, nearly 300 miles long by my reckoning  :028:

    Hi,
I'm doing a route end September 2017 which you may want to consider. It's roughly as follows:
Ferry to Santander. Pyrenees to Andora. Then to Parc naturel regional du Verdon. Then a small section of Route Napoleon to Menton(near Nice).
Then Route des Grandes Alpes - doing it South to North with the sun behind me (15 stunning mountain passes). Ending up just south of Geneva and then home via Eurotunnel. Altogether 10 days.
I've done this a few years ago, it's an amazing trip.
    Always heading for the mountains

Hi Martin, done most of the route you suggest a couple of years ago , down to Menton then back up route Napoleon via Verdon. It was fantastic.

Planning on spending  3-5 days in Picos area then about same in Pyrenees. Then about 3 days back to tunnel.
