Well I picked up the CT on Friday and wasn't sure what to expect it is a weird experience rding a shaft after a chain drive and the power delivery is quite different the engine is as I imagined very strong and smooth and quick, the bike handle very well indeed for a big bike and up to now I have done just over a hundred miles on it the low speed control is better than expected even though it took me a while to get used to the surging sensation like a juddering pull as the shaft took hold I soon realised you had to ride it in a lower gear to stop this happening .
all in all up to now I am well pleased with the bike as I get to know it  :002:.
I may look at the Remus end can as an up grade and a Pyramid hugger

Welcome to the CT group and I would suggest a radiator guard.

Stone damage is not normally covered under warranty and it could save you £1K of repairs.

Yes the "S" mode does reduce the minor judder at very low speeds even on the DCT.

    Hi Lads
Yes I got a rad guard (R&G) as part of the deal and a fender extender off my very kind dealer at no charge to me it also has the full touring kit as well it is the Highlander model in white and it looks great, I will check on here for tyre up dates as I am not sure about the Bridgestone Battle Wing in the wet but I will probably opt for pilot 4 again as I have had a lot of success with them.
But all suggestions are appreciated, I am sure you have done the tyre subject to death in the past

The R&G Hugger is a good piece of kit as the hugger extends down below the Swingarm, also good is the Marcopolo conversion on here : https://www.crosstourer.com/index.php/topic,6039.0.html

Tires are pretty subjective - individual likes are common on here although the PR4's do seem to get universal praise
