    Greetings from Seattle!

    Hi everyone,

I just picked up my VFR1200XD this week and so far I'm loving it! This is my second DCT bike and I love the simplicity of just enjoying the ride, particularly in city traffic.

I am curious about options for seat upgrades. I'm 6'3" tall and I'd love to be able to scootch back on the seat another inch or two so I'll be looking for any experiences from folks who have tried a different seat on it.

It's great to see such a strong community around this bike!
    -Chris

Great to have you on board.
I was only talking about wanting to be able to sit slightly further back in the seat as i am also 6' 3". I have found this on most profiled seats.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

Welcome from another westsider!  I also have the DCT and love it plus I am 6'3" so we have that in common.  I added a bit of padding under my seat for more height and cush plus have knight design lower/larger pegs and the bike feels great.  It felt pretty good stock to be honest but tinkering is hard not to do.

I have still never seen another VFRX on the road but its good to know I have a better chance now.

Yeah, they don't seem to be selling a lot of them up here. The one I bought was a 2016 model so it had been there for a while. When I took it out of the test drive, the odometer read 0. None of the other Honda dealerships in the area had any in stock. I'm loving it, though.
